Frankie June, previously known as Jenny Marie Mitchell, was born in Mystic, CT. As a child, she took piano and vocal lessons, performing and competing regularly. She studied Vocal Performance at Ball State University and trained in acting at Gately Poole Conservatory in Chicago. In 2016, Frankie was cast in a small role in the film Goat which premiered at Sundance Film Festival and brought her to LA. She has been working steadily as a model and actor since then, and is currently filming the Netflix limited series American Primeval directed by Peter Berg.

Irreverently-titled, Songs I Wrote on My Period will be her first musical release. The EP was produced and co-written by Berklee College of Music alum, Jacob McCaslin. In the future, she plans to tour with her music and continue acting in high quality productions, modeling her career after multi-hyphenates like Donald Glover and Lady Gaga.
