Get to know Frankie...
Frankie June is a sheltered, home-schooled classical music kid, who found herself metaphorically barely dangling from the Hollywood sign a few years after making her acting debut in Andrew Neel’s Goat.
She landed in her cramped, AC-less garage in North Hollywood, and started doing what had always saved her – creating. Frankie started releasing singles in December 2023 and her EP, Songs I Wrote on My Period, quickly followed. In January 2025, Frankie made her Netflix debut acting in Peter Berg/Mark L. Smith's American Primeval. She'll splash into the Bollywood scene this upcoming May with the cinematic release of her first romantic lead, feature Banjara.
Frankie’s music is straight from the score of the modern remake of a golden-age black comedy. It combines old-school vocal stylings and melody writing with modern lyrical themes and production (by Berklee alum Jacob McCaslin). Conversations About Her says “Frankie’s music, especially her debut single, reflects her commitment to authenticity and emotional depth.” In the future, the songwriter hopes to tour with her music, act in an A24 movie, and create a safe respite from the modern world for everyone with her Frankie June community.
